Same Day Dispatch
Order by 2pm on a working day (Monday-Friday) for next working day delivery.
Deliveries to remote locations (including Highlands or Island addresses) may take up to 2 days longer and incur a surcharge.
Any orders placed over the weekend period (after 2pm Friday) will be processed and dispatched Monday (dependent on stock levels).
On the rare occasion an item is not in stock, we will contact you with an approximate dispatch date which will allow you to make the decision of continuing with you order and waiting for the item to come into stock or cancel the order for a refund. If you do have other items on your order which are in stock, we will endeavour to dispatch the other products for next working day delivery.
Please note that some deliveries can take up to 5 working days to arrive.
In the event of adverse weather conditions which may interrupt the delivery schedule, we will contact you to keep you updated or to rearrange if that is more convenient for you.
Working day deliveries are Monday to Friday with the exception of public holidays.
Deliveries & Shipping Rates
Please note, a working day is classed as Monday to Friday and does not include a Saturday or Sunday.
Orders under £50 will have various postage options for you to select depending on the weight and size of the items in the basket. Our postage prices are:
Economy 1st Class - £3.60. Shipped by Royal Mail and can be posted through a letter box. Please note that this option has recently increased from £1.95 due to an increase to us by the Royal Mail.
Standard Next Day - £5.87. Shipped by Courier and will arrive next working day (assuming the order is placed before 2pm. No deliveries will be made on a Saturday for standard next day delivery). This option is available for items weighing up to 31.5kg.
There are also premium services available should you require your items on a Saturday or before noon.
Orders over £50 (inc VAT, £41.66 ex VAT) are classed as free delivery and you will not be charged unless you would like to select a premium delivery option, there is an oversized item surcharge, or your postcode is classed as outside of Mainland UK.
These items are too long or bulky to be delivered by our couriers using a standard service. Currently our courier will deliver Oversized Trunking and Conduits etc. to Mainland UK addresses, subject to a surcharge of £5.00 inc VAT. If your order is over £50.00 the initial charge of £5.87 will be waived and only the £5.00 surcharge will apply. Please note, if there is a surcharge applied for oversized goods, it will be one surcharge, or £5.00, per order, not per item.
International & Offshore Deliveries
For shipping to international Countries please contact us for the current rates and delivery.
Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Isle of Scilly and the Channel Islands will carry a surcharge carriage cost which will be priced on application.
Should you place your order for delivery and it is outside of Mainland UK and a charge of £5.87 is applied (or £0.00 if it is over £50.00), a member of our sales team will contact you to provide you with an accurate delivery quote.
Please note, any orders that are classed as offshore as detailed above will be changed to a 2 day delivery service.
Any orders to be shipped outside of Mainland UK (Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands) that contain cable or an oversized item will need to have the carriage cost priced on application. If you try to process your order through our shopping cart, after entering your payment details you will be redirected to a contact web page. Give our sales team a call who will provide you with an accurate quote as the £5.87 or free delivery option will not stand. This is due to the charges passed onto us by our carriers for deliveries that aren't mainland England, Scotland and Wales.
If you have not received your order within 5 working days of your dispatch email please contact customer services and we will endeavor to locate your delivery for you.
If you are not in to receive your delivery and you do not contact us, the goods will be returned to us.
We may have to charge you for re-delivery, as we will be charged by our couriers.
Signing for your Delivery
On receipt of your order please check the items are not damaged and the full quantity you ordered is there before signing for them. If the goods are signed for in good condition and complete we have no form of being recompensed. Once they have been signed for as received we have no take up with the delivery company.
Please note, we do not accept customer costs for late deliveries.
On Receipt of Delivery
Please remember to check your order before signing for the goods.
If there's any discrepancies with your order such as - missing or damaged items, please sign to reflect by signing 'damaged' or 'missing'.
If you do not have time to check your order or the delivery driver is pressuring you to sign, please make sure you sign for the delivery as 'unchecked'.
If someone else will be accepting the delivery on your behalf, please make sure you ask them to sign as 'unchecked'.
If you have added additional notes at the basket to leave the delivery in a safe place, we cannot be held responsible if the goods go missing or get damaged.
It is the purchaser's responsibility to check that materials are correct and in good condition at the time of receipt. Claims for deficiencies of any nature will not be considered after delivery has been accepted and transport notes signed accordingly.
