PFCC-1 Elkay Capacitor

The PFCC-1 Capacitor is part of the Elkay family of accessories for switches, timers and detectors which save energy and increase convenience in and around your home or business premises.

The Elkay capacitor is a 4 microfarad (4µF) 240V a.c. lighting capacitor that is designed to assist with the switching of the Elkay range of 2 wire electronic timers and PIRs when using low wattage lighting to prevent flickering or loads staying on. Examples where the capacitor is essential are fluorescent fittings, HF fittings,
LEDs or any low power consuming load.

PFCC-1 must be fitted across the switched live & neutral of the load and not at the 2 wire switch because there is no neutral at the switch.
