The Kidde 10LLDCO is a 10 year life digital display Carbon Monoxide Detector, CO detectors are now a requirement by law and a landlords responsibility to have installed in all residential premises.
CO detectors should be located on each level of the home, ideally close to fuel burning appliances and also sleeping areas.
Main sources of carbon monoxide are:
Clogged chimneys
Cracked or loose boiler flue
Improperly installed gas cooker, hob or hood
Corroded or disconnected water heater vent pipe
Gas or wood burning fireplaces
Portable paraffin or gas heaters
The 10LLDCO is easy to install as no wiring is required and is BSI certified to EN52091 Part 1
